The project aims to increase rice yields, reduce greenhouse gas emissions from paddy to earn carbon credits by introducing AWD (Alternate Wetting and Drying) irrigation to paddy irrigation areas in Cambodia. The predominant paddy irrigation method in Cambodia is plot-to-plot irrigation, so introducing AWD irrigation presents technical challenges, but we hope to overcome these challenges and make this a meaningful project for Cambodian farmers.

The project was to provide two-step loans and technical trainings to Uzbek horticultue value chain stakeholders. As an agricultural firms management expert, responsibled for technical training, Japanese study tour and business matching to introduce Japanese food business, processing technology, agricultural product branding and knowledge such as Kaizen, to Uzbek food processing companies.

The study was conducted to analyze potential and challages of diversified food value chains in ASEAN member states, such as Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore. Based on the analysis, a technical cooperation project was proposed to the ASEAN secretariat.

Providing long-term technical training on sixth industrialization of citrus resources at Okabayashi Farm (Ochi-Town, Kochi Prefecture) to young business leaders/farmers of Central Aceh, Indonesia. It is expected that Ochi-Town and Central Aceh will start joint business after the project.

Situations of forest management organizations as well as livelihood improvement activities such as women Self Help Groups and microfinance organizations were analyzed. Finally, an improvement plan for future project was formulated.

Advanced agricultural technologies has been practiced in Palestine. However, Palestinian farmers need to compete with farmers with high-tech facilities in surrounding countries. The project aims at improving situation of Palestinian farmers mainly by strengthening marketing skills.

Implementing an agricultural pilot project in order to increase income for rural women in Cambodia. Activities include poultry training to encourage economic activities of women in domestic sphere. As intended, income of women increased by implementing this pilot project.

After a long lasting internal conflict, people in rural South Sudan started to rebuild their livelihoods. The Project assisted both indigenous and returned rural people by providing agricultural supports and income generating programs.
